THE THREAD SERIES
The Thread Series (2019) is based on photographs I took of threads. Prior to this I made a series of paintings using ballpoint pens. I loved the fine line they made, but unfortunately, the ink faded rapidly. I searched for something else that could make such a fine line. Threads came to mind. I made compositions with the threads and photographed them. Then I developed a means to make fine lines in paint. Here are the results.
